Council for World Mission

It was such a great honor to be part of the Global consultation conference on Modern day slavery organized by Council for World Mission in Bangkok Thailand.

The conference involved Bible study, reflecting on slavery theologically. My unique lesson was from the book of Esther, highlighting how we over shadow many people especially those endlaved! Viewing the book of Esther in the perspective of the slaves gives another kind of unique lesson of how we raise to greatness but forget and become part of the oppressors, having no remorse and willingness to change the policies that enslaved us before we got freedom. As a Christian, I feel like I need more of this conference and as an advocate to end any type of slavery, especially the modern day slavery, I feel like my brain was shattered and rebuilt again to benefit my community and be a change. I will be sharing samples of such lessons gradually.

Special thanks to my dear father, Lesmore Gibson Ezekiel for all the support, inspiration, believing in me and pushing me to do better. I know for sure that I’ll apply all I learnt from this conference for better.

To CMW, may your willingness to see human race better never go unnoticed. I will speak of the great works you’re doing for humanity.
