We are proud to announce the successful launch of Anti-Human Trafficking Clubs at Lotome Girls Primary School and Lokodiokodoi Primary School. Spearheaded by Ndagire Joanita, Ssempaka Dickson, and Kusiima Miriam, this initiative marks a powerful step forward in our mission to empower children to stand against human trafficking, guided by God’s love and compassion for all.

Focusing on Vulnerable Children
These newly established clubs are based in government SEED schools that serve as safe havens for repatriated street children from urban centers like Kampala and Nairobi. The clubs aim to increase awareness and build resilience among these vulnerable groups, equipping them with tools to protect themselves and become advocates within their communities.
Launch Highlights
- Malaria Prevention: To promote student health and consistent school attendance, mosquito nets were distributed to all participating children.
- Skills Training: Students were trained in making liquid soap, an essential life skill that fosters both self-reliance and income generation.
- Community Awareness: Through drama and storytelling, students performed impactful plays that highlighted the dangers of human trafficking, educating both peers and the wider community.
- Official Club Inauguration: We were honoured by the presence of CP Julius Twinomujuni, Coordinator of Trafficking in Persons at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who officially inaugurated the clubs, reinforcing the national importance of this cause.
- Agricultural Support: The Foundation supported agricultural efforts at both schools, helping plant cassava, maize, and beans across 4 acres. This initiative promotes food security and introduces sustainable farming practices to the students.
